Anne Frank is considered one of the most
powerful voices during the time of terror,
known as the "Holocaust". Her story began
in Frankfurt, Germany and continued into
Amsterdam where her family was forced
into hiding during World War II.

Anne's diary shares many trials and
tribulations of a adolescent girl. She
writes about her experiences in youth
and also documents her families' time
in hiding during the war. Eventually, her
family was discovered and sent to the
concentration camps.

In an couragous display of inner strength
Anne writes, "My spirit triumphed over
evil and death. I hope my life will stand
for all those people who were subjected to
prejudice, discrimination and persecution
today." As we all believe, her life and her
diary must stand for the rights of mankind.
